Victoria is a fibre artist that decided to breed heritage sheep to help her with her crafts which includes spinning, rug hooking, needle felting, and knitting. Victoria spent many summers with her Great Grandmother, Grammy Fields, who taught her many of the traditional crafts that she is passionate about and shares with the world today. It was time well spent!
When you come to this piece of heaven on Brier Island you will experience what it’s like to go back to the age where children gather outside to play or go to the barn and help gather farm fresh eggs. You will smell cookies or muffins just being taken out of the oven just like at Nana’s. Victoria’s home is a 200yr plus old farm house that was used as the first school house on Brier Island. The floors are crooked, and most of the features are original with modern upgrades. You may see Victoria rug hooking and spinning in traditional, period time clothing or maybe in the field helping one of her hembra alpaca give birth to a little one. Come and experience your 5 senses you will not be disappointed!
